Grace, tenderness and broad smiles abound on January 9th at Maria Regina Residence as the Most Reverend Richard G. Henning, Auxiliary Bishop, Diocese of Rockville Centre, opened our Year of Hope: God Renews Our Strength.  Bishop Henning arrived at ten and spent time with residents on the units and porches.  This is where he met S. Mary Eugenia Daley, CSJ, (pictured) who warmly welcomed him to Maria Regina.  After his one-to-one visiting, he gave a thoughtful presentation on St. Paul’s “Hymn to Love” from I Corinthians.  Bishop Henning carried the theme of hope and love into his inspirational homily at Mass.  Before he left, he thanked the Maria Regina family for the privilege of being among them.  It was a great way to begin 2020!
